Create a project

Start a new project with:

kix create my-app

Interactive setup

Kix guides you through the project configuration interactively. It asks for your stack, language, package manager, and frontend — then applies sensible defaults for anything you skip.

• Choose your stack — MERN, PERN, or Express
• Choose your language — JavaScript or TypeScript
• Choose your package manager — npm, yarn, or bun
• Choose your frontend — Next.js or Vue

Next steps

When setup finishes, move into the project and start developing:

cd my-app
npm run dev

Kix also initializes a git repository and can push your project to GitHub with kix push.
